Draniki (Potatoe Pancakes)
10 ea potatoes, 2 ea eggs, salt to taste, vegetable oilmilk .
Dissolve the yeast in 2 c of warm water and adding 500 g flour. Mix until smooth, cover with a cloth and set aside in a warm place for about an hour, or until the batter becomes bubbly. Add salt, sugar, egg yolks, melted butter and mix thoroughly. Add the rest of the flour gradually and beat up until smooth. Pour in warm milk gradually, and mix the batter thoroughly. Cover with a cloth and set aside in a warm place to rise. After the batter rises, beat until it is settled and then stir in beaten egg whites. As soon as the batter rises, cook the pancakes on a hot griddle. The batter should rise no less than 3 times.

Golubtsy
One big head of white cabbage, 500 g minced, 300 g rice, 2 carrots, 3 tomatoes, salt and pepper on your taste.
Boil the whole head of cabbage in a salt water during 20 minutes. Thenpeel off the leaves accurately. Boil rice in a salt water until it isalmost ready. Grate carrots and chop tomatoes. Mix rice with mincedmeat and carrots and tomatoes. Don't forget about salt and pepper. Puteach leaf the inner side up. Place one tablespoon of prepared meatstuffing in the centre of each leaf. Roll leaves, covering stuffingfrom sides like an envelope. Put stuffed cabbage leaves with seamdown close to each other on a frying pan. Add two tablespoons oftomato sauce or ketchup to 0,5 litre of water or broth. Add it,covering the bottom of the pan. Spread butter on top of each piece.Heat oven to 140 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit). Bakegolubtsy for an hour. Served with seam down, in a deep plate.Garnished with sour cream or sauce in which golubtsy were cooked.

Potato Salad
1 kg potatoes, 1/4 c finely chopped onion, 1/2 c mayonnaise, 2 tb vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
Boil potatoes unpeeled, until done. Cool down and peel and cut in cubes. Add finely chopped onion, salt and pepper. Stir in mayonnaise, vinegar. Decorate with green before serving.
